I've been to therapy. Whether it’s the first time in treatment or to start a new therapeutic relationship all over again, I know that the search for a person who is a complete stranger at first, and one whom you would share your most inner thoughts and fears with can be daunting. It is difficult. But it is possible. As a therapist, I pride myself in building relationships with my clients. Real relationships that are open, engaged and unconditionally caring, but ones that seek truth. I will be there with you in that process even when it's difficult or painful, and I will help you find and make the changes you're looking for. I've always worked with clients of diverse backgrounds, treating individuals instead of their diagnoses. I work with adults, couples and families addressing loss, self concept, relationships, crisis and trauma, often underlying depression and anxiety. I also specialize in adolescents navigating the search for identity and independence in a social world I believe that each of us have a unique experience of the world stemming from early experiences and built over our lifetime; shaped by our own struggles, relationships, strengths and weaknesses. I use a variety of techniques to address and help find solutions to your own conflict, and reach what safety, happiness and fulfillment means to you individually.
