Wellzy is an AI-powered wellness companion designed to provide emotional support, coping strategies, and general wellness guidance. Wellzy is NOT a licensed therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, or medical professional. The AI cannot diagnose mental health conditions, prescribe medication, or provide clinical treatment. Use of AI Technologies

We provide the AI Products through third-party service providers ("AI Service Providers"), including DeepSeek and OpenAI. As outlined in this Privacy Notice, your input, output, and personal information will be shared with and processed by these AI Service Providers to enable your use of our AI Products. You must not use the AI Products in any way that violates the terms or policies of any AI Service Provider.

Our AI Products

Our AI Products are designed for the following functions:

  • AI wellness conversations and emotional support
  • Personalized coping strategies and wellness guidance
  • Journal analysis and insights
  • Mood tracking and pattern recognition

How We Process Your Data Using AI

All personal information processed using our AI Products is handled in line with our Privacy Notice and our agreements with third parties. Your conversations are encrypted and we follow HIPAA-level security standards to protect your wellness data throughout the process.

Important: Your personal information and identifiable conversations are never used for AI model training or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We may use anonymized and aggregated conversation data to improve our AI's responses.

7. How Do We Handle Your Social Logins?

In Short: If you choose to register or log in to our Services using a social media account, we may have access to certain information about you.

Our Services offer you the ability to register and log in using your third-party social media account details (like your Google or Apple logins). Where you choose to do this, we will receive certain profile information about you from your social media provider. The profile information we receive may vary depending on the social media provider concerned, but will often include your name, email address, and profile picture.

We will use the information we receive only for the purposes that are described in this Privacy Notice or that are otherwise made clear to you on the relevant Services.

8. Is Your Information Transferred Internationally?

In Short: We may transfer, store, and process your information in countries other than your own.

Our servers are located in the United States. If you are accessing our Services from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored by, and processed by us in our facilities and in the facilities of the third parties with whom we may share your personal information.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

When you delete your account:

  • Personal information is deleted within 30 days
  • Anonymized usage data may be retained for analytics
  • Backups are securely deleted within 90 days
  • Legal or regulatory data may be retained as required by law

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible, then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

10. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process, including:

However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. We maintain an incident response plan and will notify you promptly in the unlikely event of a data breach.

11. Do We Collect Information From Minors?

In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 13 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to children under 13 years of age, nor do we knowingly sell such personal information. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 13 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent's use of the Services.

Users between 13-18 should use Wellzy with parental or guardian consent and supervision.

If we learn that personal information from users less than 13 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. 12. What Are Your Privacy Rights?

In Short: Depending on your state of residence in the US or in some regions, such as the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), Switzerland, and Canada, you have rights that allow you greater access to and control over your personal information.

Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. However, we may retain some information in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our legal terms and/or comply with applicable legal requirements.

Withdrawing your consent

If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You can withdraw your consent by contacting us or updating your preferences. However, please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal.

13. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.

California law requires us to let you know how we respond to web browser DNT signals. Because there currently is not an industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, we do not respond to them at this time.

14. Do United States Residents Have Specific Privacy Rights?

In Short: If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia, you may have the right to request access to and receive details about the personal information we maintain about you and how we have processed it, correct inaccuracies, get a copy of, or delete your personal information.

California "Shine The Light" Law

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the "Shine The Light" law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing to us using the contact details provided in section 16.
